This unit provides the mandatory work health and safety training required before commencing work on any construction site. It is essential for ensuring all workers understand basic site safety requirements and their WHS responsibilities. This course is delivered face-to-face and typically takes 3 to 6 hours to complete. Participants must be 13 years of age or older. Basic language, literacy and numeracy skills are required. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment for the unit and a White Card at a cost of $150.
Unit Overview
This unit provides participants with the fundamental knowledge and personal awareness required to work safely in construction environments. It ensures learners understand their responsibilities under health and safety legislation and can apply safe work practices to prevent injury or harm.
