This course provides individuals with the skills and knowledge required to perform the duties of a supervisor relevant to operational roles within the Civil Construction, Coal Mining, Drilling, Extractive, and Metalliferous Mining Industries.
Upon completion of this course, individuals will be able to carry out or assist in conducting risk assessments in the workplace, participate in work-related health and safety investigations, and plan, prepare, and deliver communications through various methods to ensure work activities are clearly understood.
This course may also be referred to as the G1, G8, and G9 Site Safety Supervisor’s Course (formerly known as S1, S2, S3 or Supervisor S123). Some industries recommend that refresher training be undertaken every 5 years.
