DESCRIPTION:TLILIC0003 Licence to operate a forklift truck \nLF\n\n\nThis nationally recognised course provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to operate a forklift truck safely in accordance with workplace procedures\, regulatory standards\, and relevant legislation. \n\nA forklift truck is defined as a powered industrial truck equipped with a lifting mechanism—typically a mast and elevating load carriage with fork arms or other attachments—that is capable of raising loads 900mm above the ground. This course does not cover the use of pedestrian-operated or pallet trucks. Students must be 18 years or over. \nEntry Requirements\n\n\n	Participants must be 18 years of age or older\n	Basic English literacy and numeracy are required\n	Participants must provide valid identification\n	PPE (e.g. steel cap boots\, high-vis clothing) must be worn\n\n\nDelivery Format\n\n\n	Face-to-face training across 3 days\n	Includes theory and practical training\, RTO and licensing assessments\n	Delivered using Work Ready training methods designed to prepare candidates for real job sites\n\n\nCourse Content\n\nParticipants will learn to: \n\n\n	Conduct routine checks and pre-operational inspections\n	Safely plan and prepare forklift operations\n	Operate the forklift in a variety of scenarios\n	Shift loads safely and efficiently\n	Shut down and secure the forklift post-operation\n	Understand WHS obligations and hazard control measures\n\n\nAssessment\n\nAssessment includes: \n\n\n	Written theory assessments\n	Calculations assessment\n	Practical driving and operational assessments conducted in accordance with RTO and WHSQ requirements\n\n\nOutcome\n\nOn successful completion\, participants will receive: \n\n\n	A nationally recognised Statement of Attainment\n	Candidate Assessment Summary (CAN) required to apply for a High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) – LF class\n\n\nFees and Payment\n\nPayment is $600 at the time of booking to secure a place.
